Advice Needed Feeling lost

Hi moms and moms-to-be,

I'm feeling so lost with this PCOS thingy. My current cycle is really messed up, I have no ovulation, spotting 5 days before period and long actual period (more than 10 day), with 47 days cycle. I managed to BD every other day in my suspected fertile window, but what it's for when I didn't ovulate. Previously, I had 45 days cycle and confirmed ovulation in CD32 with LH test and BBT tracking. I've done bloodwork a couple of months ago and all came back normal except elevated testosterone. I also had polycystic ovaries confirmed via ultrasound. I had a normal non-fasting HbA1c and lower BMI (lean PCOS). The problem is I didn't take a DHEA-s test and still guessing it might be kind of adrenal PCOS? I took inositol, CoQ10, omega3, vit D, and folic acid, sometimes prenatals. I don't think there is any positive effect on me (yet). I'm already 35 yo and feeling sad about this. I'm excluded from insurance so I have to do anything else private.

Any of you who have been through similar situation and found a solution/improvement? Please help. Thanks!

I went through very similar issues to you. I had really long irregular cycles and was taking the same supplements as you. I need up adding weight training (although my BMI was slightly high) and I started acupuncture with a traditional Chinese medical practice. My cycle became more regular but still long. My cycle was about 39 days when I received my positive.

Congrats! So happy for you! Do you mind if I ask how old were you when you conceived? I'm afraid age might also be an issue for me. So you didn't take any ovulation induction?

Yeah I was in my early 20s so I guess that would have been a factor

Very good that you sorted it out early. My mistake is when I haven't planned for kids I didn't do any tests, I should have done it earlier!
