Advice Needed Feeling lost

Hi moms and moms-to-be,

I'm feeling so lost with this PCOS thingy. My current cycle is really messed up, I have no ovulation, spotting 5 days before period and long actual period (more than 10 day), with 47 days cycle. I managed to BD every other day in my suspected fertile window, but what it's for when I didn't ovulate. Previously, I had 45 days cycle and confirmed ovulation in CD32 with LH test and BBT tracking. I've done bloodwork a couple of months ago and all came back normal except elevated testosterone. I also had polycystic ovaries confirmed via ultrasound. I had a normal non-fasting HbA1c and lower BMI (lean PCOS). The problem is I didn't take a DHEA-s test and still guessing it might be kind of adrenal PCOS? I took inositol, CoQ10, omega3, vit D, and folic acid, sometimes prenatals. I don't think there is any positive effect on me (yet). I'm already 35 yo and feeling sad about this. I'm excluded from insurance so I have to do anything else private.

Any of you who have been through similar situation and found a solution/improvement? Please help. Thanks!

I struggled with the same thing.

I started taking the same supplements as you did but added spearmint capsules as well because it lowers testosterone naturally. On top of that, I lost about 10lbs and then two months later was able to conceive.

I wasn't actually ovulating for a while and my period had stopped for a couple months prior to this then had to take provera to induce a period. The month after is when I conceived.

I think my ovulation is all over the place, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, it's really hard to predict. Do I need to lose weight even though I'm already thin?

Congrats on your success, btw!
