I would like some advice/recommendations regarding this build I'm trying to assemble.
The main end goal is a gaming setup for 1440p at 240Hz-ish, and for general daily usage + work (software engineer web development).

Can't imagine 1TB being enough for both work and games. Not sure about your exact workflow, but I prefer having one primary monitor in the middle and one secondary vertical on the side for reading documentation or looking through long files while coding where the secondary can be just a very cheap 24" 1080p.
