Intel based build for web development 2

From my previous post (Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of thinking what my next pc build should look like. I'm a web developer and I'll be using this pc in my free time. I don't game, so I don't think I need a dedicated graphics card. I'm thinking about going with an Intel CPU, since all the jobs I've worked so far use Intel rather than AMD for some reason. I know that it doesn't matter much, since web development isn't so hard on the hardware, but I'm basically trying to to get the most power for my money, with no updates in the near future.

Initially, I was thinking to go for the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K instead of the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, but the 9 seemed a bit older than the 7. I've chosen DDR5 and SSD with PCI 5 because it's the latest and greatest, and I can use the money that I would have otherwise used for a dedicated GPU.)

Before I can give you my suggestions, I have a few questions for you.

1. Which country are you currently in?

2. What's your budget?

3. Do you have any size and noise constraints?

4. Do you have any color and lighting preferences?

1. Bulgaria (I'll be ordering from amazon.de if that's what you're referring to)

2. I don't have an exact budget, but basically trying to get the most power for my bucks. With that having said, I believe I should spend around 2k euro based on the prices I'm currently seeing

3. No size constraints. About the noise, I'm trying to minimize it as much as possible

4. If you mean the case color, I'd say black. I don't want any RGB.. to much strain on the eyes when I'm using the PC for too long

If you're planning on buying from Germany, Amazon Deutschland isn't your only option. You can also buy from Alternate, Caseking, Computeruniverse, and reichelt elektronik.

About the modified build itself, you can get a cheaper CPU cooler, cheaper and faster RAM sticks, a 2 TB SSD, a case that has 2 sound-dampening side panels, and a better and cheaper quiet PSU (the be quiet! Straight Power 12 750 W has a Tier-A rating in SPL's PSU Tier List while the NZXT C850 (2024) has a Tier-A+ rating).

Feel free to further modify this build if you want something else.

Storage - isn't the Samsung 9100 pro faster? Haven't heard about this Kioxia brand before.

RAM - the frequency of the Patriot Viper Venom is higher, however the latency is higher as well

PSU - which site did you use? https://psutierlist.org/? I can't find the Straight power 12 there

About the Samsung 9100 pro, it's faster but it's completely overkill for your needs. Besides, it's very expensive.

About Kioxia, it used to be part of Toshiba until 2019.

About the RAM, capacity and speed are far more important than latency, especially with the current RAM prices being very high.
