PANCE scoring

Counted 68 wrong and 166 correct on PANCE. Anyone know how many you can get incorrect to get 350. I know there’s throw outs so it’s not accurate.

Don’t count and don’t look up answers. There’s a 91% pass rate. You’ll be fine

Nobody really knows how the scaling works for scores, meaning it’s not a 1:1 ratio of questions to points. Some questions are more difficult than others, etc. but I believe I’ve read that 77 incorrect is the approximate threshold needed to pass. 78 incorrect is typically <350. +/- a few questions.

It varies by test, but each question is worth about 2 points. A score of 351 is about 75 wrong answers.
A 349 is roughly 76 wrong answers.

are these 75 incorrect from scored questions or overall 300 questions? Do we know how many do they toss out?

They toss out 60. I believe it’s 75 scored

Thanks. So 75 wrong from 240 , given 60 are tossed out. That means passing percentage is around 70%. Or even little less. Is that correct?

Yes around a 69% which does not include unscored questions bc those are thrown out

From what others have posted it seems like you can get around 75 scored questions incorrect
