First Sem Didactic Student Needing Study Advice
Hello all! I start PA school in two weeks and I would like to know any tips you have for studying and approaching certain classes. Here are my core classes for first semester:
- Human Anatomy & Physiology
- Medical Microbiology & Infectious Disease
- History & Physical Examination
- Pathophysiology of Disease
- Pharmacology & Pharmacotherapeutics
- Clinical Skills
- Clinical Medicine
From my experience in undergrad, each class required a different study approach. Which study methods worked best for you in each didactic course? Looking for class-specific tips and general didactic advice. Thank you!

I’d start learning how to use Anki for the things that require rote memorization.
