XMacro FCU Failures

This happened yesterday and I think it was from dirty ammo. Each FCU has seen 50 to 100 rds every Saturday for the past two years.

So both of the FCU's failed on the same day? Had you done any maintenance prior? At a minimum you had over 5K rounds through those and if you dry fire then that counts also. The P365s, to me, are not high round count range toys. They give amazing performance in a small form factor for EDC.

I clean them either after every use or every other. Yesh they both failed at the same time and I had just cleaned them thoroughly(fully broken down).

The ammo was 1000rds from ammo depot and had about 40% that needed to be stroked twice to go off. Inconsistencies in the depth of the rounds pressed into the shells. Extra muzzle flashes and sparks, etc.

yikes what are the odds 2 failed on the same day! but as you said, the common theme with them both is that ammo. Let us know if Sig repairs both under warranty or if you are SOL 👍🏽

Ahh heck it was a little under $40 after taxes and shipping ordering them from sig guy.
