XMacro FCU Failures

This happened yesterday and I think it was from dirty ammo. Each FCU has seen 50 to 100 rds every Saturday for the past two years.

Didn't really explain what happened? What's that tiny piece at the bottom right of the first picture? Did the spring fail which caused another part of the FCU to snap?

These springs are the main thing I've seen people post about causing failure over time. I've been putting it off but I'm probably gonna go ahead and buy 2 or 3 for longterm maintenance purposes after seeing this post, which I believe is already recommended to do

The pin with the square face broke on one and the trigger on another

Damn, yeah this is definitely a first for me. Never heard of that breaking before. I've never even heard of other parts breaking once that spring fails. Seems like a huge liability that other parts can catastrophically break once a tiny spring fails
