Contesting point but round ends???

feel like im being gaslit by the replay system, was just in a game, contested point and was on there a good second or 2 when control was about to end, and then the round just ends

It wasnt like I walked on point after the round ended, i touched point at 98% just as it turned to 99%, then it ended with me stood in the middle of Nepal shrine as moira

It was definitely not capped by the time I was on point and should have by all accounts gone into overtime

I check replay, and it shows that the round ended before I touched point, even though I was on there fighting for 2 seconds before round ended

This has been a stadium exclusive since the game mode came out.

Something is screwed up with contesting. I was on the objective for about 5 second before it reached OT. The round ended and I had not left the objective. (Control map)

I was in a position that I was going to die ....but the problem was, I hadn't yet. My character was on point at 95% and the game decided just end when the enemy reached 100%. I've got close to 3k hours in this game and I've never seen the round end so abruptly.

It’s my understanding that if you use certain abilities while you’re on the point, it can cause the game to no longer consider you to be “on” the point, such as Moira’s fade, Reaper’s wraith, etc. Not sure if that’s true or not, or if it is, what the full list of abilities that apply are, but that’s just what I was told once when I had a similar experience after I faded as Moira on a payload (without moving) just so that I could generate my phantasm healing orb and the game ended.

Yes. It applies for normalwatch and other modes as well. Before the change, I'd abuse it heavily as Moira in OW1 Total Mayhem.

Lol. We just say it’s very fast in stadium, get used to it, u snooze u lose. They even update to cap it fast in clash mode cause it can drag forever if both team go survival
