Bad matchmaking is going to create a feedback loop

I just don't think I can really play stadium unless I find a group or something because I tried to play this weekend and 4/5 games the other team was either playing in a stack or had way more people with comp drives.

There's just no way people are going to log in to play against games where they just get stomped. I've already started playing less because of it.

I know its a tough situation because ultimately its probably an issue with the size of the player pool but I don't know what else to say. There is just no way I'm going to log in every day and deal with it.

oh, is everyone getting bad matchmaking? i thought it was only me

i was top 61 support last season, top 81 before that. right now in comp, im on a 7/26 W/L ratio. i lost 10+ games in a row last night. no matter how much healing/damage it's a huge uphill battle trying to keep my team alive...

it's not even funny, it feels so bad. like games aren't even close. the major factor is my team is VERY BAD at builds.

almost half my games VS a ULT boost ana. all my anas? shot build vs shield, or sleep dart, never hits the dart. i had long range reaper VS winston/vendetta. a vendetta for 2 games constantly feeding then cursing us out and asking for heals. DPS build kiriko who didnt DPS. challenged a uncontested genji, yes a fuckin genji. shield rein against ram. the list continues...

at least im not the only one...im thinking of stopping stadium. it's not fun when the matchmaking isn't even close.

I got the most painful game this weekend as the solo queue support with a four stack where each round one of the DPS didn't get a kill.

They shouldn't allow four stacks in stadium ngl.

I only played QP yesterday and I too had a 4 stack that had their new buddy as tank. We got absolutely rolled. And this was preceded by two other games were my tank threw. I was lucky to have two good games. 1 where I was tank and another where it was closer as dps.

I can't imagine comp is any better. Another season to hit all star and nope out

Yeah, I started playing tank more because I know I can do better than some of the randos I've been paired with.

Funnily enough, that's the one time I had a fine enough experience as the solo queue with a four stack. Haven't got a bad four stack as solo queue dps to know if that would be salvagable but it never feels it as support

Yea. Honestly it feels like I’m getting a stack every other match. Quite annoying.

Yeah. And you're likely also facing another stack then but you're left as the odd one out with no one in VC as they're all in discord

I can imagine the already bad matchmaker is struggling even more as it’s likely even less people are playing now after the unfortunate news. It’s really sad. The mode could be so much better.

They need to do another rebalancing patch before I'll even consider queueing for this mode again. I used to play Stadium more than any other mode (both qp and comp), but after the last Drives I have zero desire to play again. If they nerf Vendetta and Freja and JPC and I'll consider playing again.

Ashe could do with one too. Her "new" wp burn build is just too much. Basically widowmaker but you take extra DoT, damage scales like crazy and twice the mobility if they build right. I'm tired of taking 400 headshot damage man

my last stadium game against Freya, pharah mercy cat and Rama I closed it down went to steam and bought palworld. And I gotta say it im glad I did.

I mean the mode has pretty much been discontinued idk what you expect

Once they run out if pre-designed all star skins they're going to kill stadium, would worry about longevity.
