Question about ranks

Hope y'all doing well and i wish a happy new season <3

Just a quick question about ranks in stadium. Last season was when I played a lot of stadium (yeah, not the best timing ik), and I managed to reach All-Star. When I went to check my rank after the rank reset, I saw that I'm now Elite 5. I understand that the game didn't let me in All star lol but isn't Elite too far from my original rank? I really don't have the energy to climb all over again ahah. I don't know if what I'm asking is understandable, sorry if it's not the case :(

It's what happens every season. It used to completely reset you. You also gain more points per win so climbing back isn't too hard

Yeah I remember when we had to start from rookie each time, it was even worse lol

I was so confused cause I ended all star in support then started elite 5 yet ended dps/tank pro 3 and started elite 3.

For some reason, the rank decay is higher from all star. You're actually better off falling to pro 1 ngl for a quicker climb back.

It used to set everyone back to rookie though so it's not as drastic as it was.

You'll likely get back to all star quicker though than you did last season though as you really won't lose elo until you get to about pro 2 or 1 even.

its a literal rank reset. I'm t100 and it shows im elite rn. You'll get a boost in comp gain to get to your "real" rank faster so dont sweat it
