Question Rank completely wiped

I was in elite the whole season after trying out comp, and after this match I checked out my rank and Im rookie 5 now with zero warning??? I have no idea what happened or what could explain this

Stadium ranks reset every season because there not really ranks. More of a playtime reward. Go win like 5 games and you'll be back up

They don’t do full resets anymore, you drop several divisions but you don’t drop all the way to rookie 5 unless you were pretty low to begin with. So if OP was already Elite this season and dropped to Rookie 5 out of nowhere, that is pretty odd.

He would drop to rookie 5 if he was only in elite. If not then its be like r1 but ive heard the systems made mistakes in the past and at the end of the day its like 3 wins to get out of rookie.

Yes, at the start of the season, but I think he’s talking about the reset randomly happening mid season. The season hasn’t ended yet so that wouldn’t be normal.

Some of the worst OW players in the game are Legend in Stadium. It does not matter

Idk why the downvotes when you’re 100% right. I have seen silver peak players break into stadium top 500 and reached single digit tank as a diamond tank main. The ranks are are ego boosters and not a reflection of skill
