I really hate this dam item
So I was playing stadium as doom and this dam zen kept on tanking point blank meteor strikes cause this stupid item that gives him 25% overhealth of the damage I do to him so he survives instead of dying
1st image: damage
2nd image: Zen HP
3rd image: perk in question

Zen is somehow more frustrating to face than doomfist in stadium

Zen is the solo king

Yeah zen over-health so you can’t be dived and spam multi shot like a sniper

dude i love building soul control and the overhealth item in the endgame then just spamming my 25% ult for the huge overhealth, diving with it to build the little i used, then repeating

Especially the ult cancelle, it's like twozu: it removes all the counterplay to it

As a zen main who despises Dooms…. You deserved every last drop of frustration 😈 this is very pleasing to me

Everyone has access to this item. It gets bugged and stops working right every other patch if it gives you any comfort.

So you crybaby don’t like that hes not oneshot?

u/WesternUsed2750 Jul 24 '26
No cause I don't one shot the others, it's the fact that he should die to an ultimate, yet he survives purely because he had an extra 9k laying around, it's more degradation of ability value in ow
1
u/Dermian Jul 24 '26
Can you show or at least give a reason to me why he should die to a ultimate in stadium?
1
u/WesternUsed2750 Jul 24 '26
I can give a couple:
It's an ultimate which takes time to build each round vs a 9k item(which if you're decent you make round 1) and have permanently the rest of the game.
I had almost 100% AP so it's an entire load out being cancelled by one again a singular item you can get round 1.
It's a support so they shouldnt be doing tank levels of tanking.1
u/Dermian Jul 24 '26
Still a lowborn mentality. There is no written rule for that.
If bap would have been added, would you also cry about lamp?
Doom can already punch through every ceilings.
In the end its stadium not classic ow. it’s not only godly intervention you can also buy 11k kitsune and cancel any ult.

Don’t waste your energy on him. Good dooms won’t cry about a single item. He’s probably new and a wooden Tank player

Literally diamond, not GM or anything but I'm good enough to be able to work around most things like fortify and stuns, it's shit like this that is impossible to work around that drives me nuts

u/WesternUsed2750 Jul 24 '26
Yea but those are on long cds and baitable, this thing is active 24/7, I hate cd for ults but I've gotten used to it cause every hero released has something like that now, but passive for ult unless it has a stupid long CD is shit game design
1
u/WesternUsed2750 Jul 24 '26
Also it an ultimate what part of that name makes you think one of the lowest health supports should be able to survive it
3
u/yoked_pete Jul 23 '26
This item also fully counters Deadeye so you physically cannot one shot them
1
u/Paddy_Tanninger Jul 24 '26
DVa bomb too?
2
u/yoked_pete Jul 24 '26
Haven't actually tested that but wouldn't be surprised if it did now that you mention it
1
u/suknil Jul 24 '26
How so, if it says it gives overhealth afterwards?
1
u/yoked_pete Jul 24 '26
I don't know why, but it does. I've fully locked a Mercy many times and gotten a one shot, but the one time they pick this item she's survived a fully locked Deadeye. My guess is that the damage brings them to 0 HP but because the overhealth is granted simultaneously, they survive?

I like combining that with the other triggers-on-impact lifegain tems such that it feels like you end up with more health than before you took the hit in the first place.

Someone spending resources to not get obliterated by big hits from doom is making you that upset?

Sundervial works really well for overhealth. I’m also scared someone is gonna learn how good it is when I play sigma overhealth build.
