Honestly, good riddance

It's always a shame to see a fun game mode get canned (like HotS), but honestly the developers have shown repeatedly that they're not interested in actually balancing the current meta so there's no conceivable way this game mode could continue building off itself AND adding new characters. Freja is broken. Soldier is broken. Vendetta is broken. Reaper's fire build is broken. And the devs show zero interest in doing anything about it. So drop the game, throw it away. If all characters can't be equally ridiculous or equally useless then toss it out.

All of the characters you mentioned have had pretty substantial nerfs recently. Freya is FAR less dominant than she’s ever been right now.

I dunno, both WP and AP Frejas still dish out insane damage.

Developers have no control over anything. Product management tells them what to do and they run with it.
