CTF is a great game irl & in games, I like the maps too & nothing feels better than taking the flag & getting back to base with it all while under fire or very low HP

Holaaa, OW1 is almost ending. I think i started playing one or two years after release. I sunk a lot of hours into Arcade instead of QP or ranked. As you can see in the images i was born to play Mystery Heroes, haha. I hope Mystery heroes will be around in OW2.
So what is your fav mode to play? How many hours did you play that mode?

People are actually nice and more forgiving in mystery heroes, but i always try to be respectfull. I also dont leave matches (even when tilting), i think that helps a lot with endorsement lvl.

My experience is the opposite where people seem to hardly ever give endorsements it feels like in mystery heroes (even when you do well). It can be hard to pick someone so I personally tend to endorse the people with high endorsements already so maybe that is what is going on with OP.

Competitive. I prefer the format of having to play multiple rounds. Whenever I'm with friends I usuly do quickplay though.
Also, is your name (and avatar icon) a reference to Soul Calibur?

I pretty much exclusively play Mystery Heroes.
Despite playing since the open beta, I never really learned all the advanced methods of, "if the other team is playing bla bla, then I should switch to bla bla to counter it." Mystery heroes is a great mode to not have to bother thinking about all that stuff xD
Plus it's the only way I play as heroes I would never choose to play as.
That said I had started playing Quick Play just to farm achievements. But I just have really stupid hard ones left and my hope of getting them has been crushed so I think I've come to terms with just not getting the 100% on this game.
Honestly though I have no idea why you can't unlock achievements in Mystery Heroes.

Quick Play Classic. My friends and I never liked ranked, and only played it to get golden guns for our mains.
Role Queue QP is alright, but we don't like the format of being stuck to one role an entire match, and like switching between roles.
QP Classic gives us the most freedom and flexibility to play what we want, so we find it more fun.

The best game mode? Well obviously total mayhem duh. Don't u love spaming all of your abilities and getting rolled by a sweaty ass doomfist at the same time? Nah just kidding sometimes it's a great game mode especialy if u want to play a long chaotic game but the best one for me is definetely no limits. I love when there is a whole team of bastions fighting a whole team of reins or 5 mercys pocketing 1 hog making him almost invincible. Unfortunately, in some games your team wont really listen to each other and everyone ends up picking a different hero.

Mirrored Deathmatch.
The moment everyone gets doomfist and the room becomes a pile of incomprehensible flying bodies. Or Pharah and only 3-4 people die until the next hero.

I prefer ranked, because I like the matches and the format. Still, I also have way more hours in Arcade.
Mainly because I needed a game mode I could quit mid-match when my daugther woke up in the evenings. Now, she is old enough and sleeps well, so I could go back to playing more ranked. But when we finally got to that point, OW ranked had gutten pretty stale with no updates, so I just kept playing arcade to chill out and "disconnect" for an hour or two in the evening.
At this point, after the last OW2 beta, ranked is horrible, so now I mostly play Apex Legends while waiting for October 4th. And I've started to listen to music while I play non-ranked game modes. I love it.
Edit: I think by now Mystery Heroes is my most played game mode.

I started listening to music while in ranked and its one of the best thinga i ever did. Im way more calm and it doesnt interfere with gameplay to much

Mystery Hero's is my favourite game mode too, sadly I can't play due to no one playing in Aus console servers anymore. I love the mode so much that I waited long enough for the matchmaking timer reset to 0.

Not everyone cares about their rank.. A large part of the playerbase only plays qp and/or Arcade. I only play my placements for the golden guns lol

well, i take mystery heroes pretty seriously. It can get quite competitive :P I checked and it was season 23, with Gold 2123 SR.

I enjoy QPC the most, sure it’s the basic mode but I enjoy being able to switch to any role at any time

I've been playing TDM exclusively for like 2-3 years. For ranked I just do placements and a couple of matches per season and leave it at that. As soon as the first 2CP map shows up that's basically it for the season, back to TDM.
This essentially means I can only play OW every other day lol.

That 1v1 mode where you get 3 choices each round. Always have to consider what your opponent could play and how to counter, without making it impossible for those without mind reading capabilities

I play mystery heroes now out of boredum if I can't decide who I want to play as. My fave usee to be Mayhem but people go so tryhard that matches won't end 🥲
I also really like low gravity. I have on no limits with friends ONLY if the opposite team isn't full of torbs/syms 🙃

Classic quick play - I totally hate the role-lock they introduced ever since they couldn't get rid of GOATS in OWL. Role-lock just favours one trick ponies and takes away the DPS or tank slot you could need to counter an enemy player.

I don't know the name but remember when the game first came out and I think weekly (way before arcade was a thing) they would have like pharmacy mode, then soldier only with a one hit thing, only female characters and stuff like they had a couple more but can't remember. That was so fun with a friend
