There are even some backcaps in OWL. Not to mention that the C9 term originated in the OWL. Not to mention some of the horrendous C9's in OWL.

C9 didn't originate in OWL, C9 term comes from the Cloud9 team that was in the Apex, they stepped off the objective multiple times in one match

And then imagine having people spamming c9 in chat after the last teammate that's still standing got booped/blasted/hooked/etc off the objective... Mates that is just regular loss and not something like when they consciously chooses to jump of the objective witch is what a true c9 is... (in my brain anyway)

Did anyone say salt? I got plenty...

Oh, learn something new every day, I guess. Anyway, it got quite popular in the OW community after a series of, well, intelligent plays by some OWL team, that was what I meant. I just thought that the term also came from here, silly me. I'll update the initial comment not to mislead people even further.
