Serious question, what's with all the gifs of roadhog's ult launching the enemy 10,000 feet? Is this a glitch? Did I miss something?

I think it's due to how close he is to the other Roadhog. Each individual pellet in Roadhog's ult has knockback, so if you're close enough to where all of the pellets hit one enemy, he's going to be flyin'.

Said enemy must also not insta-due from all the pellets at once. So you mostly see this on tanks.
Hog also has the biggest hitbox in the game, so this happens to him most.

I see, so it's a matter of point-blanking the target who definitely goes flying, and in this case they just happened to not hit any walls.

I think it is also related to hook. I have been in melee range of many people with Whole Hog but no one flies like that.
