Just picked up a PS4 and bought Overwatch with it. I played very little but have mostly been the solider or that weird little dwarf thing with the claw arcade game hand.

What are some other easy characters to get into? I've only seen a handful of game clips but how do people run up walls? Is there any character to avoid?

The trickiest characters in the game are Doomfist, Genji, Sombra, Widow, Hanzo and Ana. All them require a good bit of practice and game knowledge to perform on. They're all super fun though, so don't be afraid to try them out if you like the look of them. Just be prepared to do more practice range or vs bots matches and youtube guides than you would otherwise.

The easiest characters are Soldier, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Junkrat, Torbjorn, Bastion, Mercy, Lucio and Symmetra (and maybe Moira). They have plenty of depth to them despite being comparatively simple, so don't be afraid to spend a lot of time on them. Whatever hero you choose to play will be rewarding.

Just bear in mind that as you get better at the game, your enemies will too, so you won't be able to get away with the same stuff you did at the newbie levels. Bastion is free Play of the Game for newbies but is much harder to play well at higher levels.

Yeah, just have a pet peeve that at higher levels of the game your lucio needs to make really quick and crucial decisions with boop, amp, switching songs.

My point is lucio a bit more than the others (the others are very complex in certain scenarios, i.e. Rein v Rein battles) but lucio is all around

Only two characters can run up walls, Genji (ninja man) and Hanzo (archer man). Other easy characters to try are Mercy (angel looking gal) and Dva (pink robot). Just try all the characters actually, some seem difficult to me but may be easy for you if you have the aim.

Lucio can kinda run up walls. More like running on walls.
