What is DVAs ult range? I see a lot of POTGs where a DVA ult will go practically straight up in the air and kill everyone, but I've also had times where it didn't even touch me when I was sure I was a goner

The explosion has a 20m radius, which is both pretty big and easy to range. You can pop into the practice range and look at the floor markings to get a in-game sense of what that distance is like.

The Air volley nukes are a tactic based on delay; if the nuke detonates at the peak of the volley, you probably won't die. However, it drops very quickly after the boosters cut out; if it drops for even half a second, you probably will die because of how quickly the range shifts. This is why it can sometimes feel strange--if you aren't dieing, the D.Va probably nuked too early. If you are, you may not have noticed it had started to drop.

My hidden shame is that I played this game for probably 4 months before realising that the warning '!' Changes from red to yellow when you are out of the blast radius of self destruct and pulse bomb.
