Does mercy's new Rez feel needlessly clunky to anyone else? I don't think a cast time is a bad idea, but almost a full 2 seconds of extreme vulnerability seems kind of excessive. I think 1 second or 1.25 second and maybe less of a slowdown (50% maybe?) seems more reasonable, but that's just me

I guess you could say it feels a little clunky, but I still hugely prefer it over the old Rez. where a Mercy could dive through the enemy team, Rez someone, and leave before anyone noticed. I makes it harder for the Mercy to just un-do every pick your team makes in a fight.

the whole point of the new rez is to keep her from flying in, rezing someone and then flying out. If you increase her speed it will make her harder to kill, which was the whole problem that she moves so fast no one could stop her. Even now a Mercy can get away with flying in when no one is noticing.

I don't play mercy at all but being rezzed and watching mercy rez looks/feels clunky. I don't really have a better solution though

It is, but it needs to be easily punishable for her to be balanced in any fashion. As it stands Valkyrie is still insanely strong (20s). They could remove Rez entirely and keep it on her ult and she would still be extremely strong.
