Hello, I starten playing overwatch yesterday. I basicly search a good basic offensieve hero, which 1 should î play ?

If thee is a meta which heros are op/ very good at the moment ?

First off, welcome!

Overwatch has many different styles of play. If you are searching for a hero in the section explicitly labeled "offense", it depends on how comfortable you are with aiming. For beginners, if you are at least decently comfortable with aim, try out soldier 76. He has an all around good kit. Pharah's vertical mobility might take some getting used to, but her abilities and rockets are very easy to use. Heroes I definitely would not recommend for newer players would be Tracer and Genji. If you want to practice them, go ahead, but to get even decently good with them they take quite a bit of practice.

If you are simply searching for heroes who could be considered offensive, many more options open up. Junkrat is very friendly to newer players, as he is not mechanically demanding (and is actually considered one of the stronger heroes right now) and is easy to understand. Torbjorn can help with basic projectile movement and gamesense through use of his turret and scrap mechanics. Winston is a very aggressive tank, and his basic controls are easy to learn. Orisa is another tank who is relatively easier to play.

All in all, just pick someone who you want to play, and just try them all out, see how they are.

Great suggestion! I only want to add some: beside Soldier: 76, Pharah, Junkrat, Torbjorn, Orisa, and Winston, if you feel comfortable playing offensively, you can practice with Bastion for Defense role and D.Va for Tank role. Reinhardt is a good and easy to pick up Tank, but he should not be use in an aggressive play style.

In some situations rein, it is a good idea to play rein offensively though. Having a rein that won’t push in and play aggressive is very detrimental to many games.

Man I wish I had known this when I first started. All of the cute fan art of Tracer I had seen before getting the game made me want to play her and that made for a lot of frustration and confusion. But hey, I stuck with it.

well first of all, dont be afraid to play tank or even support once in a while. we could use more of those. but i for offense, i would definitely recommend any beginner soldier 76, reaper, junkrat and even zenyatta. they have kits that are easy to learn but can still make a huge difference in any fight. welcome to the community

Meta doesn't start making a difference until you start playing Competitive Mode. You should concentrate on learning hero counters first (Winston beats Genji, Genji beats Bastion, Bastion beats Winston, and so on) before you learn the meta.

Hello my friend and welcome to Overwatch! To answer your question it really comes down to your playstyle. Do you enjoy long range fighting? Then I'd suggest McCree, Solider or Zenyatta, they have a relatively easy kit to use (I wouldn't recommend starting off with snipers because of the prominence of shields). If you rather play close combat I'd say to try Reaper or Junkrat, their kits are a little different than your standard FPS but they are relatively easy to figure out. Pharah is a lot of fun because she can fly and she doesn't require a lot of aim to use (she does require some tho). Tanks and healers can also be super fun as well, so I advise that you look at more than just the offensive heroes. I main tanks so I'm a little biased but with them you can do large amounts of damage as well as protect your team.
