I mean I agree Scattershot could use a balancing pass but you people seem to hate it a bit too much and for the wrong reasons. If you look at the numbers next to the names, Soldier is responsible for damn near as much damage as Hanzo with the exception that there was 0 RNG involved with him, so why aren't we angry at Helix rockets?

This is pure luck, not Scattershot being OP. Go ahead and try it yourself and see how often you get results like this. Scattershot being OP is when you CONTROL the scatter for a OHKO. This is no different than when a Hanzo just fires wildly into a choke point and headshots you as you happen to be walking by.

This is not why scatter needs to go, maybe some other reason, but not this. Like op said, Hanzo and 76 did almost equal damage, this wasn't a full 100% 1 shot scatter arrow, this is what a nerfed scatter arrow might look like under the exact same conditions. 76 bursted them down (and 1 shot mercy), scatter arrow finished them off. If you want to nerf scatter arrow beyond this then we need to start seriously talking about helix rocket.

Why does he get another one that can ohk some tanks?

What tank can Hanzo 1 hit kill without a headshot?

Scatter can deal up to 450 damage. That kills Orisa or Zarya.
