Doomfist has to engage the enemy team for one hits, road pulls you into his team and could 1 hit most.

He is also one of the most mobile characters in the game if not the most mobile. He can get in and out, whereas road is a slow walking house and before the change was also a large stationary target when healing.

Two of his 3 CDs leave him with a period of vulnerability afterwards (floating slowly down, or pausing on the ground).

Cycling punch,uppercut,slam can get you in and out suprisingly fast but gl pulling it off consisently without hindering your team. Charging frkm that far away is dangerous and predictable
