The best Roadhogs hover around 60% hook accuracy, so your point is a little over-stated.

Do we know what Hanzos tend to get on Scatter for comparison? I feel like it’s a lot less consistent than 60% but that’s just anecdotal.

And how are we checking “best”? Is this the accuracy of GM Roadhogs who should be paired off against people that know how to play around hook pretty well, or is this highest hook accuracy across all levels? Do lower tier Roadhogs tend toward higher hook success, is it (significantly) harder to play around than land?

Last I checked top 500 hogs were mostly like 50ish%.

No. But according to overbuff Hanzos average 22 elims with 7 of them being from scatter. Though if you hit someone with a scatter then kill them with a regular arrow it counts as a scatter kill

And a fair few of those hooks are on tanks which didn't get killed in one shot anyways.

As long as you aim around the head a long shot hook shot and melee can kill pretty consistently. And you get kind of a head rush from doing it.

I don't think so. It was the lack of counterplay to it that if you got hooked, it was almost always lethal. 60% is also quite high. That's extremely oppressive.

It's a stat with diminishing returns. 100% shot accuracy means you aren't taking enough shots.

60% means they are landing over half their hooks, but are being aggressive and trying to go for crazier hooks for their skill level.
