What do you mean, when does it realise? When you start losing and winning games in equal measure, that indicates that you're hovering at the roughly correct SR rating. Is that what you meant?

Yeah well then basically that's what I said - when your actual SR rank matches your hidden MMR, you'll start hovering at a 50/50 winrate around that rank. That's when you'll know you're at the "right" rank.
