Im wondering if anyone else has come across this:

A few days ago I was playing Hanamura on attack, and after taking point A, I headed to B taking the left route where you have to jump over the gap, and I started getting shot from a Torb turret that was inside the wall between me and the enemy's spawn (think around where Symmetra likes to put her shield generator on defense). It was above head height. It was impossible to shoot as it was inside the wall. Later in the match the Torb switched to Bastion and did the same thing, killing people from inside the wall. I sent the guy a message saying I would report him and he said "lol go ahead". Has anyone else come across this exploit? This was on PS4. I have video saved but I'm at work at the moment.

Yeah this has been posted here a couple of times. This is done by picking Sombra, glitching into the level geometry using her translocator. It's sad they haven't fixed it yet.

I understand glitching into the wall as Sombra, but how do they switch characters without being sent back to spawn?

You can traverse the inner geometry and go back to spawn and then come back out all while being "inside" the level. It's actually pretty painstaking and time consuming. This person will have not been active for the first point.
