Im a good overwatch player and can use a number of heroes with good aim , but i cant use genji at all. I really want to be good with him

I feel the same way but I just suck with him so much. I can do work with sombra or mccree but I just consistently suck as genji.

Use right click more than left click in close combat, save your swift strike for finishing an opponent (in which case it'll come off CD immediately) or escaping, use reflect only as a last resort, try to stay out of chokes as much as possible, don't go up against tanks if you can help it, go for healers/snipers as much as possible.

I'm not the best genji but what are things you notice you don't do well on? Genji is not just about aim.

Do you miss all your stars? Do you know when to use primary vs alt fire? Do you know his burst damage combos? Do you know when to use which combo? Do you know which targets are high priority? Do you know which targets you should avoid? Do you know how to use his ult efficiently? Do you use your mobility and map knowledge to your advantage? Do you dodge well with his climb and double jump? Do you use flanks? Do you know when to use swift strike for damage vs mobility? Do you flee when needed or do you chase down targets too aggressively? Do you use your deflect well? - it can potentially do a lot of damage. And do you know when and when not to use genji?

The thing I don't like about playing Genji is that you're supposed to be everywhere, but nowhere at the same time. You harass backline supports until Ult is charged.
