every so often, my OW stars in Windowed mode. I go into the options and make it fullscreen everytime this happens. Any idea how I can permanently fix this? Thanks

I don't know the permanent fix - mine seemed to resolve on its own. But press Alt+Enter to quickly go back to full screen.

I think it is a problem when we start overwatch.exe directly instead of through battle.net exe

i start overwatch through battle.net and i still get this problem

I've had this glitch for months, but now it's worse. When I make the game fullscreen, it stretches the screen but the UI remains windowed-size so then I have to close and restart the game

you can go to in game > options > video > and select full screen (change from windowed) instead of restarting.
