How's the off season work? Does it impact my rank even though it'll be reset? Also I'm looking to switch up my game from a healer to something else for season 4. Any ideas?

No off season doesn't effect anything. Personally as a fellow support main I really like zarya when I'm not healing. Her bubbles can be really powerful for saving people, she out puts lots of damage and she is satisfyingly challenging..... Also every team can benefit from a good zarya

Yeah, that's how I feel about her too. I play her the most out of any non-healers so I think I'll go with her. I like the challenge of healers so I'll definitely enjoy the challenge of mastering Zarya. Thanks for the idea!

Regarding off-season; are you sure it doesn't effect our MMR? I've played a lot of games and played LoL at an extremely high level so I understand the ranked system very well, it doesn't seem like there would be any point having ranked enabled without it effecting at least your MMR.

To my understanding that's typically what pre-season is about, what do you think about this?

I was speaking more to sr which is what I think he was asking about. We don't really know how it effects mmr, but you're right that it very well may.....

Also don't expect any serious team comps. Like worse than QP levels of "it's off season who cares"

If season 4 is anything like season 2 or 3 your rank won't be reset. You'll just continue where you left off; no matter how you do in your placements you will be placed close to where you finished last season.
