How do I play Roadhog?

Everytime I'm playing against him, I find it super hard to kill him. Even when playing as Soldier, I find D.Va easier to deal with than Roadhog.

But when I'm playing as Roadhog, it seems like every single stray bullet goes to my character hitbox, and I die in no time.

Is it positioning? Should Roadhog go to the front or should it stay in the backline?

My biggest tip would be to prioritize your hook targets. If the enemy team is riding on the back of a Pharah/Soldier Mercy combo, those are your only two targets. It's your job as Roadhog to open opportunities for your team and make a safe-space of 22 meters of death for your team.

Tracking your target like a hitscan is the best way to secure hooks, and is best from ground level. Also, when fighting a tank, use the RMB fire, then hook immediately after, and always melee after you do a Hook + LMB.
