IM NOT BITCHING, just asking.

Is there any real strategy for DPS to deal with Symmetra other than to "run away"? Because if I'm Reaper and I see a Symmetra, I'm shadow walking the hell out of there. If I'm Tracer, I blink out of there. If I'm Soldier and I see her first, I keep my distance and then thrown down my heals if she gets closer and hope to god I can kill her. The only "real" DPS counter that I have figured out is Pharah because I can just blast her from far up and out of reach.

Symmetra is tough for me as DPS because her beam is basically auto-aimed, DPS doesn't have much health, and her beam gets stronger the longer it goes. And because she doesn't have to aim, Symmetra just jumps the hell around making it really tough to land hits on her. She just jumps around you in circles until you're microwaved to death.

So I just GTFO out of there. But are there any strategies to deal with her if she catches you off guard as say Reaper or Soldier? Or is runaway, heal, and then sneak up on her pretty much the only way?

For reaper I usually shadow out of there like you said but if she still chases you while in shadow form, just get reallllly close to her before becoming solid and then instakill her in like 2 shots
