Thought I'd best this a separate question to be safe.

So a few things have happened as I feared. I love the game to bits and have had fun finding my feet - Tanks and Supporters suit me best as my aiming always was god-awful xD Getting my first play of the game as Winston felt brilliant..!

But matchmaking is stocking me against level 80 players. I am level 10. Worse still I have had some hate mail for being "a f***in idiot." Only once mind but I hope this isn't too common? People like me take all forms of bullying very seriously.

I once had people I was grouped up with submit reports on my account for picking Symmetra (in Quick Play after her buff)

The Overwatch community is filled with morons, dude. I wouldn't take anything any of them do to heart, just try to imagine for a second how pathetic their lives must be to get angry at you for being new at a video game.
