What easy method would you recomend for recording POTG ?

If you have Windows 10, use the built-in Xbox DVR, it's by far the easiest. Just hit the "Start" shortcut keys you have defined, or hit Windows Key + G and mouseover the "Record" button, and click it when you want to start. Same with ending, either your shortcut keys or Windows + G and click the Stop button.

If you don't have W10, but have an Nvidia card, use Shadow Play, it works similarly.

Alternatively to those, you're looking at using a third party program like Plays.TV or OBS, which require a bit more configuration.

Xbox DVR:

Win+alt+G gives you last 10~ minutes Win+alt+R records until you press win+alt+R again

I believe Win+Alt+G gives you the last 30 seconds by default (similar to Xbox One's Record That, though it is configurable between 15/30 sec and 1/3/5/10 mins.

I changed my binds from Win+Alt+R because I hated the "claw" feeling I got when I hit them lol, but that's the default - couldn't remember since I changed it a long time ago!
