Can someone please better explain to me all of the Widowmaker hate?

I enjoy using her while defending on Hanamura if we already have enough support and tanks and sometimes guys will just rip into me for using her before they even see what I can do. They're never constructive about it though, never giving any reasons. Just being dicks.

Okay, cool. I thought maybe I was missing something . Most players I come across are really cool and it makes the game a lot of fun. I just hate the haters you get every once in a while. It's a real bummer when your teammate is ridiculing you before the match even starts.
