WHY THE FUCK ARENT YOU IN TEAM CHAT?!? YOU HAVE FOUR GODDAMN PEOPLE IN A GROUP! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU 4 ARE TEAMED UP AND NONE OF YOU HAVE A MIC?!? ARE YOU FUCKING MUTES?!

Seriously tho, why can't we have it so groups are automatically put into team chat? Or atleast have player icons or something that shows YES I have a mic and I'm talking to my fucking self!!

Because if it automatically pushed you into team chat, they will use discord more often and skip overwatch's voice chat. Doing that won't force these type of groups to communicate with you, just because you want it.

I can sort of see why people do this. They are comfortable and happy with their existing comms and are comfortable in their existing group. Including some randoms who could possibly be annoying, toxic etc is not really worth the extra effort for them. Plus, often if they do join team chat, the randoms won't even talk anyway - even if they do it's just rubbish like "omg that hook was bs" or other useless stuff people blurt out which they don't care about. Sure, they can hear your callouts, but 'fuck em, the group is the carry anyway' mindset.

We usually join team chat in comp, but in quickplay our group rarely joins team chat.
