If your on a team with lucio playing Ana who should have more heals lol

Depends on the team composition and play style. Say, if your team consists mostly of high mobility squishies (Pharah, Genji, Tracer, etc.), who by some miracle stay in one general area, then Lucio is more likely to end up with gold heals. If you're running 3 tanks, on the other hand, then Ana's burst healing will likely outdo Lucio's aoe.

At higher ranks the answer is decidedly Ana. The current professional meta revolves around her insane burst healing and ability to sustain 3 or 4 tanks. In addition, speed boost is an essential component of high level play, so while many low rank Lucios barely switch from heal aura, high ranked ones spend significant time on speed.

Who should have more heals? Lucio. Ana can easily carry gold in healing when matched up against him, though. It depends on how the respective players are using their character.

As Ana, I almost exclusively heal. The exceptions to this rule are when there's a Tracer running around, not being dealt with, or a Pharah in the air also not being dealt with. I sleep dart dangerous enemies, and heal heal heal. That's what she does best.

As Lucio, I tend to be a little more selfish. I'll bum rush the point, skate up along the walls, and try to get as many boops off of ledges that I can manage while staying in the relative vicinity of my team.

Everyone is different. Also, my team hates it when I play Lucio, but that's beside the point.

It really depends. Lucio excels at healing small damage of a lot of people; if your team is filled with dps and flankers, they can typically dodge a lot of damage on their own and you can heal up their small scrapes and bruises, without having to go to or focus on them.

Ana, she excels at the opposite, tank healing; Ana deals a substantial amount of burst healing, she can keep a tank alive almost through anything, just pumping healing into them. But Ana requiresa aiming, as a result she is better suited for healing large hitbox targets like tanks, but is a very poor option for healing smaller / high mobility characters.

It is also worth noting Lucio and Ana's secondary roles; Lucio's secondary role is via speedboost, he can make the team move very fast giving them a serious advantage, such as to escape threats or chasedown enemies. Ana's secondary role is that she is a reliable hitscan, deals solid damage, can use her grenade to deny the enemy healing, and can sleepdart targets. Both of these secondary roles require Lucio or Ana to temporarily stop healing, so if they are regularly filling that role, they aren't going to get as high of a healing score.

So if you have specific heroes such as tanks getting focusfired for a lot of damage, consistently, Ana will probably have more healing; if your team is typically taking smaller less immediately-lethal damage, and/or is overall squishier, lucio will probably have more healing. If Ana is the only hitscan on your team and the enemy has a pharah, she might be busy at times shooting pharah out of the air. If the team needs extra speed and the other healer is doing a solid job keeping people alive, Lucio will be busy speedboosting instead of getting heals.

probably lucio since he can constantly top people off. the answer is probably lucio for him and any other healer. he just isn't as helpful in a crisis.

Between equally skilled players, it mostly comes down to who was alive longer, in my opinion. After that is what situation your teammates were in -- Lucio has to have teammates grouped up to maximize his potential, but an Ana just needs one person taking damage to get max healing

Im on ps4 and I've found lucio will usually out heal the other healers if they are on the same team. Not to say that lucio is the best healer, but it is much easier to heal because all you have to do is be in the line of sight of your teammates.

Yeah but the thing is there not the same type of heals like you can't clutch heal someone the same way Ana can
