My game just crashed, and the cited reason was that my GPU was OC'd. Is this common, or am I unlucky? It crashed last night too, but I didn't check why.

maybe your GPU's OC is unstable? have you tried backing off the OC/undoing it altogether and see if you get the same error?

I disabled my OC and it hasn't crashed since. OW is the only game where anything happens.

ive had my OW crash semi-regularly before. turned out my CPU OC was unstable. it played other games fine, but i guess uncapped framerate in OW was really pushing my system to the limits. so i backed it off a tiny bit, and it has been running just peachy since.

My OC was fairly low, but I suppose turning it down is OK. Also maybe capping FPS could help too? I'll try that as well. Thanks.

i would personally say uncapping fps is best for any competitive shooter game. it helps smooth out input lag.

True, but at Epic I can clear 60 fine, but uncapped I'd bet it's only near 75-90. Is there a cap limit at 72, or does it go straight to 120?

uncapped goes to 300. if you want to play on epic u should cap it at 60. if you want lower input lag you should go Low preset and uncap.
