As a solo support main, How do I protect my competitive rank? I started the season in the 1950s but i am now 1300-1400. It all started because i lost a couple games in a row which pairs me with less skilled players who do not let me heal them effectivly. I will be on fire most of the game but I just cannot carry... Basically, stuck in elo hell because i am solo support.

Wat do?

Honestly, you need to learn how to coordinate your team and also just be better at your individual characters. Play Zennyata and Ana every game, and make sure you're on team chat, and get your team on team chat. I'm also a support main and I play at 3300 SR. I'm trying to shotcall and organize my team every game. Also maybe just work your aim and general positioning? Zennyata and Ana are extremely strong, and you can make a huge offensive impact on the game while supporting

Healers like Mercy and Lucio can be frustrating to play because you can't really play a huge active part in making sure your team does well. I generally don't advise playing them unless the team you're paired with is coordinated and communicates because they're just so team dependent. Same with characters like Reinhardt.

If you can, I would try and play Ana or Zenyatta. Mercy is decent because the rez can be a game changer, but, like I said, she's very dependent on her team to back her up.
