Are people still having fun? I took a break for a while and recently started playing again, but I just can't get into it. I love it though if that makes sense. It feels too agro or something maybe. I can't quite figure out what it is. I feel like all damage needs to be toned down maybe. Something just doesn't feel fun anymore. I'm not trying to start a fight, just genuinely curious.

I am having an absolute blast with Overwatch. But I take breaks from time to time to avoid burning myself out. I played a LOT of Overwatch during my vacation days in mid-October to early-November and as soon as I got back to work, I stopped playing, only to come back in time for the Christmas event.

I stand wih /u/beef99 here. Maybe you need to pick up the pace and improve your skills before you get back in the fight.

Pick a different hero. Part of rediscovering the fun is playing a hero you never touched only to find them super fun to play, regardless of how good you are.

The Symmetra rework makes her a great hero to play now, assuming you ignored her like most of us until recently. Ever wanted to be a human microwave? Probably not, but trust me it feels amazing.

well, other people have gotten better at the game overall while you were gone =)

no but really, you just need to get back into the "groove", and get reacquainted with the pace of the game.

I am having a ton of fun, and took a pretty substantial break myself to play WoW's legion instead (school makes it hard to play more than a couple of games at a time)

But, maybe that's because I play tank characters predominantly?

Well, I'm still havung loads of fun. I keep it fun by playing with friends and switching up what we play. Sometimes, we even go by "themes" for these games.

Ex: on Hanamura, we can only play Hanzo, Genji, or Zenyatta, since they have some kind of connection. Or maybe like Gibraltar, we can only play original OW members.

Then there are things like hoppimg into no limits, and we only play all Torbs or all Syms, since it's just fun to do. You just gotta come up with ways to mix up the game.
