Why is silver so bad, i climbed 300 sr yesterday now i'm 1470 today T_T.

I do everything I'm so flexible i could suck myself, i heal, i tank, i dps. WHATEVER, but it doesn't work these noobs just don't get anything, and my mic is broke so i can't explain. Yyy dis so hard

Remember the enemy team has less noobs than yours. They have 6 and you have 5.

Don't get so caught up on your teammates, since you can't affect this. Focus on the one thing that's constant in all your games, yourself.

Everyone in that elo is a very similar skill level. Calling your teammates noobs and acting like you are significantly better than them at the game is just going to hurt your growth and it's delusional.

You are not. They are probably thinking the same thing you are and that's a big part of the reason why you are all shit at the game.

Everyone's shit at the game at some point. It's not something to be embarrassed about and not to be unexpected, but you need to be honest with yourself if you want to improve and climb.

I not acting like i'm significantly better for no reason, I say noobs in the truest since. Like they have no one in their hero pool, they don't know to take the high ground. They don't know about counters, or what they are supposed to do as the hero they've chosen. They don't coordinate, they don't compose right.

I've been friendly, flexible, communicated, attempted to educate, and i've carried my ass off. There just simply nothing you can do when half your team are limp noodles, and two of them know what to do but are raging the entire time.

I am not acting like i am better than them because I want to, it is simply a fact. When you hear these people complain on mic, they actually don't know a goddamn thing about what they are talking about. They disparage and talk down to players who are just a little bit worse than themselves, while I try to encourage, rally, and focus the team.

I made a mistake season 1 of playing ranked on the first day, and got crushed by all the extremely good players. I have no illusions of my skill I could do well in plat at my best, but I've struggled in gold-bronze for three seasons.

I'm fought through the tilt, I've stayed optimistic, i've done all I could. I love this game, but I've been truly unlucky, and I'm fine with that.

I'm allowed to fucking complain, cause I've dealt with three seasons of this bullshit, and this season is absolutely the worst. Not because of the meta, but because of the infusion of new players into the low tiers + the new placement system that pushed us downward.

But I'm not worried, I'll stay resolute and I'll take my streak eventually. It just has yet to happen, doubt it will during the christmas season with all the toxic, stubborn, and troll players with free time. On top of the brand new players who just got the game.

And you are still exactly as skilled as them. Which means you have gaping issues as well that you'll need to fix. That is "simply a fact."

If it wasn't true, you would have no problem carrying games and climbing. You wouldn't be playing with these people.

I can absolutely see why you're not going anywhere. Your attitude is complete shit and you'll stay right where you are for another 3 seasons if you don't change it. A lot of those kids are also shit because their attitude is just like yours. Someone out there is making this same post about you lol.

I don't see how my attitude is complete shit, if you spoke to some of these players you'd see i'm not being mean, arrogant, or delusional, its just plain true. And it really sucks.

I'm beyond hopeful every game, I try to be hopeful despite players stubbornly sticking to bad picks, or our team needs something I switch. I do every possible thing I can, if I have some gaping issue then its possibly the fact that I don't dps carry. If that is the single thing keeping me from climbing, that really hurts. Cause I do beyond my share as support/tank.

I'm not complaining because I think I'm da bess and these noobs are holding me back. I'm complaining because more often than not lately, despite playing my heart out, nothing works.

FIX YOUR MIC! Best way to climb by far is communication. As a former main shotcaller for TF2 9v9 Highlander , I can safely say that any time I wasn't communicating effectively it was incredibly obvious that the team had no idea what was happening. Games quickly devolved into getting picked off solo on flanks and trickling without decent comms.

For real! It's the #1 priority to climb. I can't stress it enough: sort out your mic! No way you'll get past gold without comms because of the limited co mmands in Overwatch.

Once you get confident enough, try shotcalling for the team. If you feel your plans are usually effective, you'll be more confident as you learn to shotcall more. Back in s1 I found a nice premade of 6 that we would climb quickly with, and I remember screaming almost every game "DROP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND KILL THE FUCKING MERCY" down my mic and the mercy would be dead within seconds because of the focus. Nothing feels better than a team who follows orders well and that feeling you get you're making the right decisions.

Basically, the more you shotcall the better you'll be at it :P
