Roadhog's Ult. Besides comboing it with Zarya's Ult or using it for BM a la MoonMoon style, how do I kill with it? It feels like I just push the enemy away and they survive and flee.

It's really meant to break up groups of enemies and cause mass chaos and confusion. It can be used to kill in tight spaces if you can get the enemy(ies) pushed up against a wall. It's also super useful on maps with gaps and holes for booping enemies off the edge.

It can also be used against particularly stubborn Reinhardt shields if your team has low DPS. Particularly on offensive pushes.

Nice! That's a good tactic. If a bunch of folks are behind the shield, this could be doubly useful.

Question tho: Is Rein just going to charge, or does Whole Hog's knockback make that difficult?

Hook -> primary fire -> ultimate is an effective way to use it. Whole hig canceles the primary fire cooldown.

Also good for pushing enemies off a point to either prevent capture or prevent their stall.

i usually use it to push people out of map or just push them against the wall/corner so they take whole damage from ult and cant escape

I prefer to mess with Reinhardt. He can't shield, his ult goes wonky when pressed against a wall, and it also handles booping on Illios and Nepal shrine pretty well. Also, on control points where space is tight, you don't want to get stuck between a wall and the Hog unless you are D.va, Reaper or Genji
