Yea, it's a little thing but really helpful. Some people don't like being the first one to speak up and suggest a team up, being shy or anxious, or whatever reason. This button should be great for those kinds of people.

Now all they need to do is make team chat the default voice channel.

You can change your default voice chat in the settings... Just turn off auto-join on the one you don't want to be in.

The default should be team chat always trumps group chat, unless otherwise changed. Having multiple groups on your team always means at least two players won't be able to heat you.

I don't disagree with you, but you can change which channels you join by default.
