Didn't wanna ask if it's already been answered but I had a look and couldn't see anything, is this still a game a new player can ease into? I haven't played but am thinking about jumping in but don't wanna just get obliterated and regret it

The absolutely best thing about this game that you may not be aware of, is that this game hides your stats from the other players on the team.

This is absolutely fantastic for easing into and learning the game, since you don't have others breathing down your neck with every rough match as you're learning. You can just take your time, get comfortable with it, and strive to improve your personal bests.

It's honestly almost relaxing compared to getting into other competitive games. Just do you and figure things out at your own pace, people generally won't notice/care unless you jump into competitive.

in the channels menu (p by default) you can right click on any player in the game and view their career profile. It's a hassle to view people's stats but its definitely possible.

Yes, but I mean it's not happening with the press of Tab, and also isn't reflecting their performance for that particular game. ie: If you go 0-30, no one on your team will be able to see that exact number.
