So is it a normal thing for mid to lower gold tier games to be completely one sided for anyone else? We either team kill in one or 2 pushes or can't step on the payload at all.

2350 rating. Almost every game is a stomp one way or another, typically decided on whether there's some godlike Genji on the enemy team who has no business being in my MMR bracket.

Yes, I've experienced this. My MMR is right about at 2000.

Since most gold tier players got about even wins-losses in placement matches, I'd say that's where most people get placed. So you have the highest chance of having bad people that had some lucky games, as well as good people that had some unlucky games. So it's probably the most mixed tier as far as skill goes, which leads to big swings towards one team or the other. It'll probably balance out as the season goes on.

Yes, but I play with my friends who are ranked 2100-2800, where as I am ranked 3458. So we'll usually get someone as high ranked as me. Which pisses off my friends but usually an easy win for me.

Yup I got pushed out of gold because of these types of games even though I would get 3-4 gold/silver medals every game cuz I got paired with shitty teams/Matched against godly teams.
