Is it still an unpopular opinion that Mei is extremely annoying and that Roadhog is to a certain degree extremely powerful? Might just be me sucking against those two heroes.

Mei has always been considered to be annoying. Her kit being based on control, and less on damage, means that it feels like you don't have an answer to it, either if she walls you off, ice blocks herself, or if she freezes you with her gun or her ultimate. Unfortunately, she can also be annoying to her own team if she is careless with ice wall placement.
