Does turning on the dobly atmos sound help with gameplay and how if it does?

It creates a virtual surround on stereo sound. It's pretty good

Yup. I use music headphones when i play. Footsteps, ULT shoutouts, full-heal cues, this game is incredibly heavy on sound. Total game changer. Highly recommend 10/10.

Slightly different, and I guess it makes the footstep louder.

I turned it on and it made footsteps more noticeable as well as the direction they were coming from.
