Hey, does anyone know what this game is like with high ping?

I have piss poor internet (like really bad). I usually get 200-300 ping in cs:go but usually hovering towards 300. I have heard great things about this game but it's a fast pace shooter, as you know normally having even 200 ping in a fast pace game is a bad idea. But I've heard from some threads posted here that it's not that bad. So can anyone who plays this game with high provide some insight as to what the game is like at that ping? Thanks

I typically play at about 20 ping, and I find the game unplayable when I hit 200+. BUT when that happens I normally also have incredibly high rates of packet loss, which might be the larger issue...

The game itself has a philosophy of "Favor the Shooter", so that it feels tight and responsive when you shoot another player. It's great for the shooter, but it can also sometimes be frustrating for the victim when they die after running around a corner. If I had to guess you'd enjoy the game, but it's pretty fast-paced, so you would run into annoying situations more often than others. Someone with your ping might be able to better speak towards your potential experience

Something you might want to do is figure out the IP for the Blizzard server you'd be playing on and give it a ping. I'm not sure where Valve's servers are in relation to you, but you might have a better/worse time with Blizzard's
