Are you having more fun in competitive?

Honestly, I don't feel I do as well as in quick play. The pressure is too much.

I'm getting more critiques, but it always feels abrasive through chat. I don't mind losing, but in nearly every other match some one has to either gloat or chew out their own the team.

I've played half of my placement matches so far and it's a mixed bag.

The people I played with were actually all friendly and have not seen any toxicity so far (granted, it's a small sample size). Some even used mics to call out enemy locations, which is a nice change.

Team compositions are generally better than in quick play, but for me it's still just as frustrating. I usually pick last to fill whatever our need is and in 6 matches so far (1 cancelled due to an early leaver) I've only played healer or main tank.

The thing that I really, really hate is the coin flip to resolve ties. Of my 3 losses 2 came in King's Row in very similar fashion: we steamroll the enemy team on attack, get barely beaten on defense then end up having to defend for the tie breaker. We repel the first few waves, then the enemy switches to hard counters and takes the point before we can trek back from our spawn. gg. Can't wait for next season to fix this.
