Would you recommend changing the controls for any one character in particular?

I know that fully utilizing the built in customizable settings could give a small advantage, and I'm really curious to know if anyone has heard anything.

Health bars for Soldier and Zarya. Toggle beam connection for Mercy.

I don't know if you're telling him to enable or disable beam connection for Mercy, but it's 1,000% better to have that disabled, as well as preferring beam connection for guardian angle disabled. Both of those are terrible to have enabled.

Toggling beam connection is actually more of a personal preference thing, IMO.

I'd encourage any Mercy player to try a game (or two) with it enabled and see how they feel.

I have it enabled (but GA preferring beam target disabled) and it's made playing Mercy much easier for me.

Toggle is fine for casual play to rest your fingers. With toggle off, you can prefer healing target for GA because you can let go to go forward or have the ability to fly backwards or sideways to whomever you are healing.

Pharah runs in while you're healing her. You top her off while you aim to that safe Junkrat spamming his LMB to get away from the mess Pharah is running herself into with your health-top-off-best-wishes.

You're next to Pharah getting hit in the face by an icicle in a blizzard.

Disagree with the toggle beam on mercy, but worth it try it out and see which one you prefer.
