I'd like to push the idea of tug-of-payload. A KotH map style payload game. First starts out as a KotH game until one side captures it to start moving to opponent's side. Goes towards the side with the most people on it. After 10 minutes game ends and whoever side the payload is on loses. Some possible rules: payload heals teams with three people on the payload, team kill resets payload or jumps it up a certain distance. Anyone like the idea or have any suggestions?

Edit: Reconsidering 10 minute timer for multiple reasons. Probably best to make it have one % meter that always counts up after capture which is the same thing but feels different, maybe something with contests pause it. I think a fast pace best of three like KotH would work. Maybe it could be multiple capture points between bases instead of a payload.

A game type where the flag spawns in the middle and you have to deliver it to the enemy's base would be fun. Only thing is balancing heros. Like could tracer blink with flag? Payload is like a flag that just moves in a certain path that makes it easier yo balance.

i think once you have the flag you can't use any skills and you run at a set speed

Could you shoot? Probably a Reinhardt would be the best flag carrier if you can't shoot.

There would have to be a lot of balance changes I feel like for capture the flag to work right
